Well here it is,the last day before surgery. Like to say I did a lot today but with the rain falling without pause I chilled with thepete and made jello and got the bills in order.
The sun came out at about 6 pm and is lovely.
Things I Learned today....
I like JELLO
Magnesium Citrate is not my beverage of choice!
and it seems kind of sad that it is my last carbonated beverage!
and my last use of a straw.
Stress makes my stomach acid go and that is why I eat when I'm stressed
Getting in touch with why my body is doing things is interesting
Magnesium Citrate goes in like a very bad soda and leaves as fire water. Ouch
I am not looking forward to the events of tomorrow but do anxiously await the adventure to follow. So for now. See you on the losing side.
Hi Cami, I think I finally got signed in here through my Twitter account for travel writing, so this is me, your cousin. I'm sending good thoughts your way for tomorrow. I'll be following along. Well, I'll probably skip the Magnesium Citrate, but I'll read your posts ;) Hugs, Debbie
ReplyDeleteActually, it bumped me back from Twitter and took my Wordpress login (which it wouldn't take the other night.) But at least I got signed in and can read and comment! Trusting all will go well tomorrow, Debbie
ReplyDeleteCami - that presurgery magnesium stuff is the worst thing you will have to endure -- after surgery you will get up and move around and be feeling great -- really, the worse thing I remember dealing with was the gas after surgery! LOL! Actually, I had my gallbladder out last October and that was way more painful than this surgery - you will be fine, trust me -- you will heal quickly - just be sure to get up and walk every few hours to prevent blood clots but you know all that already -- I am so proud of you - this is a big step but you will be so happy you took it! I know I am -- I had my surgery 13 months ago and have lost 125 pounds and feel wonderful. I am so excited for you and your "new life" as a thin and healthy person and I look forward to reading your "blog" in the future - praying for you! Love Meleani
